The Winfield Halls

Jon is still in college at San Francisco State University where he plans to complete his education in computer animation.

Eric graduated in June of 2000 from Northern Illinois University. He then completed a course of study at a Golf Course school in Arizona. He is now working for a golf course design firm in Marengo, Illinois

Joe completed his 34th year at AT&T/Lucent Technologies and officially retired 12/30/2000. He continued to work for Lucent as a three-day-per-week consultant working on the same project (geo-location of mobile telephones) through 7/15/2000 and was laid off with the rest of the Lucent crowd. Currently Joe is enjoying full-time retirement.

His football crew worked its last, and 700th, game together in August of 2001 and thus concluded a wonderful career on the High School football fields of Illinois.  It was a great run, but it was also time to hang up the yellow flags.  Joe continues to teach football officiating and has been named an Illinois State Interpreter.

Marge continues to paint her big flowers and teach art. Some more recent information about her and her "Floral Portrait" art works can be seen here She is very active as the current president of the DuPage Art League.

Mark is still with Boeing and, after several years in Seattle helping to design the Joint Strike Fighter, he is was in Palmdale California helping to build two prototypes. He helped test the B-model JSF (the one that can takeoff vertically) at a U.S. Marines testing airfield in Maryland. Unfortunately, Boeing did not get the JSF project and so Mark is now doing stress engineering for a space satellite.

Marge and Joe continue to play handbells .

Tom and Mary Beth now live in a new house in North Aurora, IL. Tom is in his sixth year with the Forest Park Police Department and Mary Beth continues to work part time at T.G.I.Fridays. Of course both are full time parents!

The Halls continue to support, and be supported by, St. Matthew UCC in Wheaton, IL.
